The chosen remediation method for this project is In-Situ Solidification (ISS) with soil mixing. This advanced technique involves injecting stabilizing agents directly into the contaminated soil. The stabilizing agents mix with the soil, solidifying it and encapsulating the DCBP molecules. This process immobilizes the contaminant, preventing it from spreading and posing a threat to the environment. Additionally, we utilized Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology to create detailed maps of the contaminated area. This allows us to visualize the extent of contamination, plan the ISS treatment strategically, and track the progress of the remediation effort.
